Xiuxia Yang is a Chinese practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She received her medical degree from Heilongjiang Traditional Chinese Medical University (P.R.China) where she graduated summa cum laude after over eight years of extensive training in both Eastern and Western Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Yang served as a chief physician and lecturer in the affiliated hospital of her alma mater before coming to the United States. Presently, she is a certified acupuncturist and herbalist in the States of New Jersey.
Yang has been practicing Chinese Medicine for more than 35 years, and she has established her practices in West Orange, New Jersey since 2000. In that time she has helped thousands of patients recover from a variety of ailments and illnesses. Her professional mission and life’s passion are one in the same: to provide high quality, affordable, and effective health care to her patients.
Yang has proudly served on the faculties of some of the tri-state’s most prominent acupuncture schools since 1994. She has been a professor at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, the New York College for Wholistic Health Education and Research, and the Eastern School for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has taught courses in numerous fields, including: Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Andrology, Dermatology, Pediatrics, Digestive Disorders, Pulmonary Disorders, Chinese Herbs, Chinese Formulas, Diagnosis Methods, Acupuncture point locations, Needling techniques, Eastern Nutrition, and Clinical skills. It is deeply rewarding for her to train and educate thousands of licensed acupuncturists throughout the United States.
Yang is truly a pioneer in the field of alternative medicine. Her expertise includes treating the following disorders: infertility and women’s disorders, pain management, asthma and digestive disorders, strokes, prostate illness, and weight control. She effectively integrates Acupuncture, TuiNa (Acupressure), Chinese Herbs, and Eastern Nutrition to help her patients restore a balanced energy flow and insure natural healing.
